M0014027: Two statues of Saint John of Nepomuk (Nepomucene)

Previous title, replaced January 2022: Saint John Nepomucene.

Two statues of Saint John of Nepomuk (c.1345-1393) patron saint of Bohemia. The first statue was purchased by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1932 and accessioned in 1938 (accession number R571/1938). The second was acquired at an unknown point and accessioned in 1937 (accession number R4847/1937). They are not held by Wellcome Collection.
