Photograph, August 1959, of Sir Henry Hallett Dale (1875-1968) English pharmacologist and physiologist and Chairman of the Wellcome Trust (1938-1960) at the Trust headquarters at Queen Anne Street. The photograph was one of a selection used by the Wellcome Trustees for their Christmas card in 1959.
