Description

1-3; Deeds of half an acre of land in Longaston field, Slimbridge; 3 pieces; 1682-1755. The property was acquired in 1697 by Stephen Jenner (d. 1727), a baker, of Cowley, Gloucs., and sold jointly in 1755 by the latter's daughter-in-law Mary Jenner (d. 1758), widow of Stephen Jenner (d. 1728), a baker, of Slimbridge, and her grandson Stephen Jenner (1732-97), eldest brother of Dr Edward Jenner. The land was acquired by Mary Jenner's nephew William Davies (d. 1762), of Rolls Court, Slimbridge.

6; William Davies, deceased (d. 1762), of Rolls Court: inventory of his goods; 1 piece; 7 October 1762; Made by Elizabeth and William Davies, apparently in the hand of the Revd William Davies (1741-1817).
