Photograph of an illustration, possibly an etching, depicting the original building in which The Retreat was housed in York, 1792. This reproduction was made from the frontispiece of Tuke, Daniel Hack: Chapters in the history of the insane in the British Isles, London : Kegan Paul, Trench, 1882.
