Two photographs on one negative. One is of James Macalister Mackintosh (1891-1966) Scottish army physician, barrister, Chief Medical Officer in the Department of Health for Scotland and Professor of Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. The other is of Lieutenant-General Sir William Porter MacArthur (1884-1964) Irish British Army officer and doctor and President of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (1959-1961). Neither photograph is held by Wellcome Collection.
