Description
Letters from Housman to Galton regarding Galton's inquiries into photographing animals. Housman discusses Galton's paper, the possibility of getting information from herd books, and arranging for breeders to supply him with details of their herds. Enclosed is a letter from John Risden, who advises Galton of the difficulty in charting the pedigree of cattle; and a letter from Mr Tudge, who has the opportunity of photographing three generations of cattle.
