Reproduction of a photograph, after a half tone illustration from National Geographical Magazine, September 1917, showing a Chinese pharmacist and chemists at his pharmacy in Suzhou, China with caption underneath. Another photograph of this image was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 3rd February 1932 (PHO 722).
