Description
Correspondence between Moore Taylor, Medical Officer of Mental Health, North-Eastern Regional Hospital Board, Scotland, to Penrose regarding the possibility of carrying out experiments on a pair of Down's syndrome twins using pituitary growth hormone capsules. The decision to go forward with the experiment is delayed due to discovery of a suspected case of megacolon in one of the twins. Encloses letters from staff at the Royal Aberdeen Hospital for Sick Children on the child's medical condition.
