Description

In the foreground, rocks represented by appliqué discs of cardboard are being worked by a man riding on a mechanical digger. Right, a pond in which are a swan with cygnets. In the background are a thatched hut (with real thatch) and a stable in which a person is seen mounted on a horse. Left, hedges represented by moss and vegetable matter. In the centre, children are playing with an enclosed field of sheep below. Hospital ward, creator's name and date of creation are inscribed on the reverse, probably by Edward Adamson.
