Description

Two images on one negative: illustrations from Andry de Bois-Regard, Nicolas: Orthopaedia; or, the art of correcting and preventing deformities in children, London : A. Millar, 1743. The first image shows a nurse incorrectly handling a child by letting their head hang down. The second illustrates the dangers of leading strings.
