Description

Reproduction of two illustrations of people visiting Bedlam (now Bethlem Royal Hospital). The first is a drawing by George Cruickshank of Jack Sheppard visits his mother. The second is an etching, 1794, by Richard Newton. Published in O'Donoghue, Edward Geoffrey: The story of Bethlehem Hospital from its foundation in 1247, London : T.F. Unwin, 1914.
