  • 1. To Mr. Da Costa regarding proof papers, in the third person, c.1772.
  • 2. To Mr. Banks regarding Royal Society election, in the third person, 1778.
  • 3. To an unidentified recipient, regarding a misdirected package for Dr. Cuming, 1784.
  • 4. To the Rev. Henry Louch, thanking him for a donation to the Howardian Fund, 1786.
  • 5. Note to unidentified recipient asking him to be put down as a subscriber to the " Dying Sayings ", 1789.

  • 9A. From Dr. Jonathan Stokes, Kidderminster, 1789, discussing agriculture and in particular the mangel-wurzel.
  • 10. From Dr. Valentine Mott, New York, mentioning death of Dr. Miller and his editorship of the Medical Repository , describing an epidemic in New York of a "very malignant and fatal...peripneumony" and relating his appointment as Professor of Surgery at Columbia University, 1812.
