Description

Photograph of two pharmacy jars from Lillle. One has a label panel with a woman's head with rings round the neck below and is inscribed "C. ANTHOS". It was purchased by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1909 and accessioned in 1926 (accession number R17500). The other has a label panel with a satyr's head below and is inscribed "C.ROSMARINI". It was acquired by the Museum at an unknown point and given accession number A169580
