Three letters dated December 1944 and January 1945 between J B S Haldane and Dr D E Lea of Strangeways Laboratory, Cambridge, regarding research on the theory of chromosomal arrangements; one letter from J B S Haldane to Professor R C Punnett dated January 1945 enclosing a copy of a paper co-authored by Haldane and Lea titled "A Mathematical Theory of Chromosomal Rearrangement". Also includes notes accompanying the essay and two hand-drawn graphs.
