Contains a letter from Phillips Mills, Registrar at Harefield Hospital, Middlesex, to Penrose detailing the family medical history of obesity and diabetes for a patient suffering periods of somnolence, and enclosing details of tests carried out in the discharge report, and a reply from Penrose informing that, after studying the discharge report, genetic studies of the patient at the Galton Laboratory would not be useful.
