Inscription in Latin composed by Viviani, in honour of Galileo, which was placed over his bust, and on both sides of the door of his house in the Via S. Antonio in Florence in 1693. Author's holograph MS., with original 'Imprimatur' from the Ecclesiastical Authorities, dated 1701. Produced in Florence.
