Photographs of a manuscript copy from 1168 of "On Surgery and Instruments" by Al-Zahrawi (Abulcasis), held by the Khuda Bakhsh Oriental Library, India (MS Khuda Bakhsh 2146 (Bankipore 17)). Nitrate negatives were originally created by Paira Mall on 28 December 1912 and the prints made in 1977.
