Description

Academic Press Inc (London) Limited took over publication of the journal in 1968. In Mar 1976, in light of plans to disband the Society, six months notice was given to Academic Press to terminate the contract signed in 1974. However, the Society's existence continued as did publication of the journal by Academic Press. In 1986 the Society decided to terminate the contract and a more favourable one was set up with Macmillan Press Ltd. This however was preceded by a dispute between the Society and Academic Press regarding valid termination of their existing arrangement.
