Photograph of a terracotta hydria (water carrier) decorated with a red carved design showing two women with offerings at an altar. From Southern Italy and dated from the second quarter of the 4th century BC. It was purchased at auction by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1932 and accessioned in 1936 (accession number R481/1936). It is not held by Wellcome Collection.
