Photograph of an x-ray tube from c.1915 inscribed "Instanta Tube, Macalister-Wiggin pattern, sole British Manufacturers Newton and Wright". Bears Ministry of Munitions label. It was purchased by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1928 and accessioned in 1929 and again in 1958 (accession numbers R30840 and R32/1958). It is not held by Wellcome Collection.
