Concerning adjustments to a clause in the original agreement relating to the proportions in which certain payments should be allocated between them. Signed by Pontecorvo and Roper on 16 December 1955 and by Sermonti on 3 January 1956.

Patent number 24907/1 relates to the "invention for a method of synthesis of strains of micro-organisms and improvements in, and relating to, processes involving micro-organisms". Patent number 5394/52 relates to the "invention for improvements in the production of strains of micro-organisms".
