  • MS.1723/1: Marie, Pierre Louis (1883- ), 1921. L'origine de la pneumonie et la pneumonie expérimentale. Produced in Paris.
  • MS.1723/2: Marinescu, Gheorghe (1863-1938), 1924. Observations anatomico-chimiques concernant les rapports du myxoedème avec l'immunité. Produced in Paris. The author was a pupil of Charcot at the Salpêtrière in 1889 and professor of neurology at the Pantilimon Hospital, Bucharest in 1897. In 1936 he was elected Honorary Member of the Académie de Médecine, Paris and Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, London.
  • MS.1723/3: Marochetti, Michael, 1825. Analyse d'un Mémoire du Docteur Marochetti sur l'Hydrophobie. A resumé of the second edition of the Essay, published at Saint Petersburg in 1825: the first edition appeared in 1821. It was based on the author's experience in the Ukraine 1813-1820. In 1821 he became surgeon to the Galitzin Hospital, Moscow, and was later at Saint Petersburg as physician to the Dramatic Academy.
  • MS.1723/4: My thoughts on his (?) Notion and Idea of the Diseas [sic] of Hyp(ochondrical) Affection, 1727. An anonymous account of the cause and cure of the Spleen, opposing the views of Sir Richard Blackmore [ -1729], whose name appears at the beginning of the text, and who had written a treatise on that subject, published in 1725.
  • MS.1723/5: Ockenden, Edward, 1897-1902. List of animal livers sent from the Zoological Society's Garden's, London to Sir James Cantlie. With a covering letter from Ockenden to Cantlie dated 18/12/1902 (1 p.). The lists are marked II and III. E. Ockenden was at that time Prosector's Assistant at the Zoological Gardens.
