Reproduction of a photograph of a child being vaccinated against smallpox in Al-Dawayima (or Dawaymeh), Palestine. Reproduced in The Lancet, January 1926. A copy of the illustration was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and accessioned in 1938 (accession number PHO 10681).
