Photograph of the last two pages of a letter dated 25 July 1907 from Joseph Lister to Sir William Turner proposing that Lister donate his various medals and diplomas to the University of Edinburgh. It is one of a number of photographs accumulated by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum as part of its exhibition held in 1927 to celebrate the centenary of Lister, in conjunction with The Royal Society, The British Universities Hospitals and Medical and Surgical Colleges.
