Photograph of a framed oil painting, c.19th century, showing a group of surgeon's performing an operation, possibly on a woman's breast in 17th century. A caption attached to the frame titles the work 'Surgical Operation' and attributes the work to the Dutch School, likely for display in the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum. This item was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 20th November 1939 (P2682/1939). Related images: L0048608.
