Description

Photograph of two open universal equinoctial dials and an open Butterfield type horizontal dial. The first equinoctial dial is an Augsberg type and is signed "Johan Schrettigger in Augsberg". Undated, c.1800. It was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Musuem at an unknown point and accessioned in 1918 (accession number R10353). The second equinoctial dial is an Augsberg type inscribed "F. leva Pol....LTM". It was purchased by the Museum at an unknown point and accessioned in 1921 (accession number R12575). The horizontal dial is signed "Macquart Paris" and is udated, c.1730. It was purchased by the Museum at an unknown point and accessioned in 1922 (accession number R15223).
