Reproduction of a photograph of a bust of William Morgan (1750-1833) Welsh physician, statistician and chief actuary of the Equitable Assurance Society, 1775-1830. The bust was created by Joseph Towne and held by the Equitable Life Assurance Society. The photograph was published in Anderson, James Gibson: The birthplace and genesis of life assurance, London: 1940
