Photograph of the Extrait from the Rules of the Order of the Danebrog, part of the Warrant of Knight Commander awarded to Joseph Lister and dated 18 October 1879. It is one of a number of photographs accumulated by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum as part of its exhibition held in 1927 to celebrate the centenary of Lister, in conjunction with The Royal Society, The British Universities Hospitals and Medical and Surgical Colleges.
