Regional meetings increasingly held jointly with the WHO: the 1st WHO/IEA 'Regional Working Group on Basic Health Services' was held in Manila, Philippine Islands, on 21-29 September 1976, and the workshops held in Poland, March 1977 and in Pakistan, March 1978 were joint WHO/IEA conferences.
