Notes

The following description was provided by James Gardiner: "Commercially produced Western films from Hollywood enjoyed great popularity in Europe from 1911 onwards, and in William S. Hart had their first true cowboy star. The man's costume in this photograph is reminiscent of many worn by Hart, incuding his signature leather cuffs. The cowgirl is particularly pretty, and makes a convincing lady."
This work is untitled: the title has been supplied by the cataloguer.
