IPs jcarce rational to think, that fuch confufed, irrational, and tautologous Pam¬ phlets could fnd a Run, and obtain fo much in the World, without Expence of humane Blood, in fome Cafes and Difeajes, wherein they have re«■ commended it; e. g. in Old Jgei wherein Indigeflion and lnappetency may be owing to a Laxnefs, or Weaknefs of the mufcular fibres of the Stomachy whofe natural Force and Elafticity is almofl worn out; and therefore the Chyle fent from it into the Blood, must be very crude and unprepared, which in the Veffels mufl diminifJj and deprave the E- vacuations and Secretions.
