Description
Photograph of a later version of the Coolidge X-ray tube. Heat is carried away from the target by a heavy block of copper and the metal fins. The item was presented to the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum at an unknown point and accessioned in 1954 (accession number R63/1954). It is not held by Wellcome Collection.
