Description

Photograph of two items: the rear side of a silver gilt pap boat with a decorated edge and cockle shell handle, date marked 18101-1811 and made by Crispin Fuller. And the rear side of a silver gilt pap boat with a decorated edge and cockle shell handle, date marked 1809-1810. The first was purchased at auction by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1929 and accessioned in 1929 (accession number R29819). The second was acquired by the Musuem at an unknown point and accessioned in 1921 (accession number R14371). They are not held by Wellcome Collection. Related images: M0018458EA
