Description

Photograph of sections of two trephination braces, one with Lesueur's mark, a crown and device, and one with Grangeret's mark, a crown and "H". The Grangeret brace was purchased by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1928 and accessioned in 1936 (accession number R2946/1936). The other was purchased by the Museum in 1929 and accessioned in 1957 (accession number R7/1957). Neither is held by Wellcome Collection.
