Description

Photograph of a telegram from 1893 from the Scandinavian Surgical Society on the occasion of its first meeting in Gothenberg on 6 July 1893. It is one of a number of photographs accumulated by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum as part of its exhibition held in 1927 to celebrate the centenary of Lister, in conjunction with The Royal Society, The British Universities Hospitals and Medical and Surgical Colleges.
