Description

Photograph of two infant feeding bottles of the type used in Germany during the latter part of the 18th and first three-quarters of the 19th century. The one of the left is cut glass with a silver mouthpiece. The one of the right has an etched design of the sacred monogram and pewter mouthpiece. The items were acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and accessioned in 1939 (accession numbers R968/1939 and R915/1939)
