Description

Three carved wooden statues of St Anthony of Padua (1195-1231) holding a child. There are no particulars for the first statue. The second was purchased in 1935 and accessioned in 1937 (accession number R4795/1937). The third was acquired at an unknown point and accessioned in 1937 (accession number R4845/1937). The statues are not held by Wellcome Collection. (image 204) and unknown. were , reference: Museum No. R1451 - incorrect. R4795/1937 R4845/1937 (image 214)
