About this work

Description

This material, originally bundled together, comprises a history of the ICP in key published documents, such as notices, information leaflets on the aims and activities of the organisation, annual reports, conference reports, appeals leaflets, grant application to the LCC for recognition in order to obtain financial support, prospectus of training courses. Printed material is interspersed with hand-written information on the organisation, when it moved, when it changed its name, etc. The compiler of the bundle and/or writer of the information has not been identified but may well have been Margaret Lowenfeld herself.

The documents chart the beginnings of the ICP as the Clinic for Nervous and Difficult Children, founded 1928.
