Description

Reproduction of a photograph of Ignatz Leo Nascher (1863-1944) Austrian-American physician who coined the term "geriatrics". The negative was made from from an engraver's proof sent to Miss Burnstein by the Editor of Geriatrics. The proof was made from a photograph lent by Dr. Malford W. Thewlis. The photograph was not an original and it is doubted whether an original still exists.
