Biographical note
Louise Medus-Mansell (1962-2018) was a former trustee and chair of the Thalidomide Society. Her father, David Mason, was one of the primary campaigners that fought the legal challenge against Distillers that resulted in the thalidomide settlement and creation of the Thalidomide Trust. Louise married John Medus and had two children, a daughter and a son. She later married Darren Mansell, whose papers are in SA/TSY/J/7.
