This edition includes Australasian information re postal information. Each year has a different chapter on a subject relating to nursing.

This edition includes the general principles of nursing such as sanitation, ventilation, cleanliness, medical equipment, surgery, first aid in emergencies, poisons and their antidotes, an alphabetical list of 'tabloid' nursing requisites, foods and dietary, legal information and general rules of quarantine, etc.
