Photograph of a 17th century Italian pair of dental forceps and a late 18th century English pair. for the extraction of teeth. The Italian pair were acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum at an unknown point and accessioned in 1918 (accession number R8570). The English pair were purchased in Paris in 1928 and accessioned in 1932 (accession number R50854).
