Description

Photograph of a side view of a set of lower denturs of walrus ivory. Natural teeth would have been inserted in front, but molars carved of ivory. Photographed to show gold band at the side. They were acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Musuem at an unknown point and accessioned in 1918 (accession number R8525). They are not held by Wellcome Collection.
