Photograph of the first and last pages of a letter dated 9 February 1875 from Joseph Lister to his brother Arthur referring to an expedition they are planning and Nussbaum's success with Lister's methods. It is one of a number of photographs accumulated by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum as part of its exhibition held in 1927 to celebrate the centenary of Lister, in conjunction with The Royal Society, The British Universities Hospitals and Medical and Surgical Colleges.
