Description

Statement of a Case against Richard Reece, M.D. for Libel on Dr. Edward Jenner in an article published in the 'Medical Observer' for June, 1808. With holograph 'Counsel's Opinion' by Sir Codrington Edmund Carrington, and a holograph addition, comprising a few amendments to the text, in Murray's hand. The article accused Dr. Jenner of quackery and fraudulent financial claims. Sir C. E. Carrington's 'Opinion' was that there was no case. Produced in London.
