Description

Photograph featured in a Charles Scott Sherrington exhibition for the Symposium on the History and Philosophy of the Knowledge of the Brain, 15-17 July 1957. Charles Scott Sherrington (1857-1952) was an English neurophysiologist, histologist, bacteriologist and pathologist. Also in the photograph are Edgar Douglas Adrian (1889-1977) English electrophysiologist, and Alexander Forbes (1882-1965) American neurophysiologist. The photograph was loaned to the exhibition by Professor Edward Liddell.
