Photograph of an English version of the French Villard type of valve tube. Inscribed "Phillips X-ray Ltd" and from c.1918. It was purchased by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1928 and accessioned in 1929 and again in 1958 (accession numbers R30838 and R33/1958). It is not held by Wellcome Collection.
