Description
Photograph of a display board from a Charles Scott Sherrington exhibition for the Symposium on the History and Philosophy of the Knowledge of the Brain, 15-17 July 1957. The board shows a letter and transcript of letter from Sherrington to former pupil, Professor Regner Granit of Stockholm. Sherrington's handwriting can be seen to be affected by chronic rheumatism. Charles Scott Sherrington (1857-1952) was an English neurophysiologist, histologist, bacteriologist and pathologist.
