Description
Photograph of two medicine jars, one decorated with cockle shells and cherubs and the other decorated with angels. The first was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum at an unknown point and accessioned in 1940 (accession number R748/1940). The second was purchased at auction by the Museum in 1919 and given accession number A52491. Neither is held by Wellcome Collection.
