Description

Poole is collecting materials on the subject of expenditure on diet and provisions in hospitals for the insane, with a view to an article in Edinburgh Medical and Surgical Journal. But asylums report such expenditure differently, so encloses a model used at Glasgow Asylum 1842. Could Tuke furnish such details for The Retreat; he is aware that it 'must differ from almost every other' etc
